Long live the Turkish workers movement

Message to workers, labor organization, women and young protestors in Turkey

We send greeting to all of you and share your struggle.  The Iranian socialist workers support strongly your movement and they are pleased that you have diligently resisted against the oppression.

The Turkish workers’ class has always struggled against oppression and exploitation, but has fought for freedom and equality.

At the same time, workers and labour organizations including young activist are struggling for the protection of their rights as well.

The current protests are mass movements that involve different classes. The Turkish working class reflects the majority of people demands in society and is not only important in Turkey but also important in the Middle East region.

Long live the working class in Turkey

Long live mass movements and young people in Turkey

Long live international workers solidarity

The Turkish government and ruling party known as Justice and Development have implemented neo-liberalism policies successfully in recent years. The government of Turkey was able to combine liberal policies and the Islamic ideology of the Turkish capitalists to develop global capitalism polices, enhance economic growth and become a reliable power in the region for NATO.

When mass movements occurred in Arabic countries in the past few years, the Erdogan government of Turkey led by global capitalism, through this process of political developments with Syria, Turkey became the front of the imperial government of America and Europe. Erdogan and the ruling party are proud of themselves. In such circumstances the Turkish bourgeoisie to consolidate his power in region performed some steps in solving problems. One of the problems the Turkish government counteracted was the pressure from the PKK by releasing Avjlan from prison. They also implemented some Islamic laws that put pressure on women and set limits for political and labor organizations.

The Turkish bourgeois led by Erdogan and the Justice and Development party has caused exploitation of workers and has led to investment exploitation, privatization and accumulation of debt. This debt is being paid by the people. The current movements, which originally involved the entire country with its continuation, will challenge the neo-liberalist capitalist policies. In the past two weeks it has become clear that Turkey will face more worker strikes, protests etc, which will affect the surrounding region including Iran.

The Imperial monarchy was empowered in the region and then overthrown by Iranian workers and toiling masses successfully in 1979. But unfortunately this revolution was defeated by the Islamic Republic of Iran movement which was supported by American and Europe imperialist countries. The Islamic Republic of Iran is moved society backwards for many years by using religion and superstition. This has resulted in a huge profit for international investors and capitalists. The Islamic Republic of Iran has never been able to gain credibility among the workers class and toiling masses. Whether by force, police, army, Islamic revolutionary guards, execution, imprisonment, torture, it cannot silence the workers and progressive organizations. Over the years workers have been apart of strikes and protests in many different ways. Currently, many of those workers and activist are still struggling in Iranian prisons. Even those outside of the prisons are having a challenging time against the Islamic regime.

Once again we send out greeting to the workers and their organizations, activists and fellow youths in Turkey and hope that you will succeed. We’ll try to voice your protest on your behalf and send your message to the entire world in solidarity.

Long live the working class in Turkey

Long live mass movements and young people in Turkey

Long live international workers solidarity
